Bill embarked on his career in the electronic security industry in 2003, starting as an entry-level service technician with a global security integrator. Through dedication and versatility, he took on various roles, steadily advancing to oversee integrated access control, video surveillance, and alarm installations and services for major end users. His extensive project portfolio spans transportation, healthcare, government, and utility sectors.
In 2011, Bill transitioned into a manufacturers representative role with the largest firm specializing in electronic security, representing many of the industry’s most widely deployed brands—ones you may even have in your own environment. In this capacity, he became a subject matter expert in cutting-edge technologies, including biometrics, thermal imaging, video analytics, wireless data transmission, emergency communications, smart locks and credentials, radar, and both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Bill thrives on collaborating with end users to understand their needs and develop strategic technology solutions that enhance security, mitigate risks, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
Beyond his professional expertise, Bill has a strong passion for education. He is certified as a trainer for multiple access control and video manufacturers, sharing his knowledge with others in the field. His commitment to industry growth extends to volunteer work, having coordinated technology education initiatives for associations such as ASIS and IAHSS. Additionally, he has served on the board for the Central Florida IAHSS chapters, furthering his dedication to security innovation and community engagement.
